We used our HILTI DST 10-E professional industrial diamond concrete cutter and the HILTI DD 350 diamond concrete drill for the first time doing a concrete cutting → and concrete drilling job for our international client who operates a containerboard papermill.

While installing ventilation devices in the huge factory, we needed to cut an opening 190 cm wide, 80 cm high and 30 cm deep. While cutting the nearly 1 ton piece of concrete, we had the dedicated help of the two diamond specialists from the construction equipment manufacturer large corporation HILTI, who also taught us how to use the devices. So our colleagues were able to get firsthand experience and education from the top qualified professionals from HILTI

While cutting the monolithic reinforced concrete, we had to pay special attention to not disturb the ongoing production with the concrete cutting. Our colleagues had to do this 4 meters high.

During the concrete drilling → we had to use the HILTI VC universal vacuum cleaner, since the site had electric power distributers, and other security systems we had to protect from the dust and waste products coming down from 4 meters. The vacuum cleaner, equipped with two turbines and a filter cleaning technology, gave us constant and remarkably good suction throughout.
